Color Blind or Color Bound?

Background of the UU flaming chalice with text "Color Blind or Color Bound?"

Please join members of the social justice committee and me as we take a critical look at race matters within Unitarian Universalism. Recent calls for an end to white supremacy within our movement seem to have fallen on sympathetic ears, yet our past work in this area has rendered meager results. I believe religious liberals have historically moved from being colorblind to being color bound in race matters. Together we’ll explore what this means for both our church and our movement.

Today’s image of a flaming chalice comes from Last Minute Linda on Flickr, from the UU Stock Photo group.
